In men with a moderately elevated PSA, the 4K score,

PHI, and PCA3 may improve the prediction of clinically

significant prostate cancer and provide additional

information over PSA alone. However, the CUA

recognizes that these are expensive tests that are not

currently publicly funded in Canada. At the present

time, the CUA does not encourage the widespread use

of these tests.
