Objectives:
- Discuss the impact of patient death on surgeons (including case examples).
- Develop skills to change the narrative when communication with hospital administrators/patient advocacy to encourage them to take physician well-being into consideration.
- Learn to advocate for surgeon well-being in the climate of Covid Recovery.
- Review resilience and navigating the space between compassion and burnout.
